How do I become a school psychologist?

High school courses needed to become psychologist? 10 pts?

  • I'm a junior in high school, and am thinking of becoming a child psychologist in the future. Does anyone know which general high school courses I would possibly need? 10 points to best answer

  • Answer:

It's not that important. If you take all the required courses at the level that is expected for university-bound students, you will probably to be fine. If you are considering a particular school, you could look up their psychology program and see what the admission requirements are for undergraduates. To be prepared for university, the two most important classes are probably math and English. A solid grasp of algebra will make statistics classes much easier. A lot of psychology students seem intimidated by statistics. Good reading comprehension and writing skills will make just about everything easier.
