Is this report on zebras good for a 12 year old?

I am 17 year old boy and am getting bullied by an 12 year old.?

• So i'm in year 12 and heres how the story went. I went to my school library, a group of year 8 boys, about three of 'em outside the library door. Appriciating my high authority as a sixth former, I told the 'shut up this is a library'. So i went in, and the boys came in followed me, and one of them shouted abuse using various types of colourful langauge, even the librarian said its enough to him and to get out, He did this in front of everyone there. I was so embrassed and humiliated, so I went out. They followed, however i was also restless and I went up to the boy there who swore at me and told him that who does he think he is to talk to me like that, and that I did also swore at him and to get a fraustrtion out, I merely pushed him. Now this created an issue. He know assumes that I punched him in the arm, he has his friends to 'witness' for him. He went to see the head of year yesterday, luckily he didn't reach him. So I to decided to see that boys head of year, so I asked him his name, and form which he was in. He may have gotten sacred and said not to, so I told him to end this issue there then, he also shock hands. He story continues, him and his friends are telling all the teachers they know about this, and (1) its making a bad image of me in front of my teachers (2) The boy walked passed me this afternoon at school and said to see my head of year. I felt so angry. I just ignored. So what now, what do I do? He might go and see my teacher and report this.

• Answer:

  Go to a senior person in your school, preferably someone whom you have a good relationship with. Then just be perfectly honest with them, explain everything and even admit that you were wrong to lose your temper and push him, but say that it has been blown out of proportion and you just want it to stop. They should be sympathetic and try and sort the problem out for you. If this kid starts pestering you again, keep your cool and suggest calmy that if they continue to use inappropriate language, you will use your position of authority as a 6th former to involve a teacher and get them punished. Remember that teachers/staff will trust you above a year 8. Hope this annoying pr*ck and his other friends leave you alone
