Good fundraising ideas for school club?

• My school's French club needs money for our state competition (hotel rooms). Unfortunately, our state just banned the sharing of foods in school, so we can no longer sell candy or crepes as we usually do. This week we tried to sell buttons for $3 for kids to listen to iPods during school, but that failed. We've sold about 25 and with 20+ kids going, that doesn't even cover one hotel room. Can you think of any fundraisers that'll actually interest people?

  1. Sit infront of a busy supermarket store such as Wal*Mart and tell people why you need the money. 2. Ask a local store or any store if you can put a little bucket at each cash register so people can donate money as they want. 3. Play games. Such as Corn Hole each student should pay $3.00 per turn.
