Should I attach a personal statement in my request for letter of recommend?
-
FYI, I am currently in college. And scholarship applications are now open. I want to ask an outreach specialist, whom I'm currently working for, for a letter of recommend. I know seniors in high school have brag sheets they can just attached, but for college students, I can't find any brag sheets for them. So, like the question stated, should I include a personal statement in the request, and a resume sheet, or do you think the resume and request letter is good enough? Thanks!

Answer:
I think it is a good idea and it might help make them write one but if you just ask that person if they could and what they would need is much easier.
