How to get better grades?

  • yeah i understand i asked this earlier, i just need more help :) hey, im currently in year 11, my GCSE year at school, and i have applied to collage to do a travel and tourism Btec!! it is a two year course, if i get my 5 c grades if i get less that 5 c or above grades it is then a 3 year course, which i really don't want to do, but i will if i have to, thing is im not super clever and ive been worry so much lately that that not going to get those 5 c's to do the 2 year course, im not super dumb also, i am expected c grades in all my lessons, but i don't think i will get them! Is there any tips at all you can give me so i can push myself to work harder, and get 5 c's in my GSCE final grades i do study and try hard in lesson, im not one of them that messes about loads, im just rubbish at learning, so any advice that anyone can give me is good Thankyou!! xo

    What I find helpful is writing down over and over again things I need to remember, saying things to myself at least 3 times to remember them (that actually has been scientifically proven to work, because it takes at least 3 times to stay locked in the brain), and try and limit time for other things so that you can always have time to study. Another thing is get at least 8 1/2 hours of sleep each night, eat healthy, excercise and try not to worry too much. Worrying only makes things worse and worrying while you study only causes you to not get the full potential out of what you are studying. Hope this helps! Good luck!

my tip is get the rivision book and dont read the pages just scan them with you hand slowly.

I don't know, but I can tell you're stressed. try meditation, and maybe that may open up a pathway to the answer you're looking for. I know it seems stupid, but try it, it may help...

Look up some colleges you might want to go to. Check their average admissions info. When you see the scores you will want to get your butt in gear! If you work hard and start pulling your grades up you have a chance at some decent colleges/community colleges but don't expect too much. But if you work hard there you could transfer to some better schools. Good luck! Just keep your future in mind. It seems far away, but it is closer than you would think!

if u are douting your self...stop douting yourself! is u r really strugglling with a class, tell ur teacher that u need some extra help. study a lillte more too if u have the time. when things are memerized we do much better.

i had trhe same problem i was predict C'S in all my 12 differnet subjects the techinque i use was to sat away from my friends kept my head down. I aslo stayed after skool alot did alot of revsion. In the end i got 4 A's 6B's and 2C's so it must work

The key to good grades is to study! If u have a big test then study until u practically know it in ur sleep! Also if ur taking a test and u have no idea what the answer is don't skip it, take a guess. Good Luck with ur grades!
