How to study for A level history?

Can i study history a level if i didnt study history at gcse?

Can i study history A-level if i haven't done it for gcse. or would geography be better which i have done at gcse The college i want to go to offers pathways and before its too late i want to swap medicine for law. other a levels im choosing: english lit and english language Psychology Classical civilisation

Well I can answer this, you most certainly can. I did it the other way round, I did history for GCSE then geography for Alevel.. you will be allowed, but one might wonder why the change of heart? I changed because I realised that I wasnt very good at history haha
