Early Childhood Studies Dissertation.

Early childhood studies dissertation ideas?

  • I'm currently in my second year of the early childhood studies degree course and have been asked to start preparing my dissertation proposal for the final year. I am stuck on what to focus it on, I'd prefer to focus on 3+ year olds but no idea what topic to look at. There isn't anything in particular I'm deeply interested in, but want to stay away from play or at least not make that my main focus as it's likely my research won't find anything new about play.

  • Answer:

If you want to work in childcare you are doing it the fools way. I work in childcare, never went to university. Ive been working in a setting and taking the level 3....much more respected within childcare. Anyway...Bit late for you now.

Types of learning eg visual, demonstrations etc. See which the kids learn more/retain info. Could do something like read story to one group, get other group to act it out + see which can order the points of the story better.
