Is it true if you don't take all upper level math courses you can't become a doctor?
-
Family doctor in particular. And when i say upper level i mean honors, ap ect. and if you take regular you can't become a doctor?
-
Answer:
This is not true. Having said that, doctors need to understand a lot of science and math is the language of science. Some students have a hard time in math earlier in their life and at some point can get it. If you struggle in math, some of the sciences will become a problem and make it hard to become a doctor.

I don't know if it's true or not but I'd feel concern if I knew my doctor didn't do well in math while he figures my correct medications!

Of course not. But it does help you become a doctor.
