IB diploma student - want to become a doctor?
-
I'm a high school student and want to become a doctor (I'm Canadian and will be going to university in Ontario). Are these courses okay? HL Math HL Chemistry HL English SL Biology SL Spanish SL Geography Next year I will also be taking a non-IB general physics course. Does this sound alright? I am hoping to get an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) in either biology or chemistry. Thanks :)

Answer:
Sounds perfect! Since requirements for med school in Canada is at a university-level, whatever course you choose for IB doesn't really make a difference. But the courses you chose (especially HL Math and HL Chemistry) will be great preparation. Good job for choosing to take all three sciences. A word of caution: HL Chemistry and HL Math are very difficult.
