How can i find the location of a phone number or the place from where it has originated?

  You can go to www.whitepages.com and click on the "reverse lookup" tab and type in the phone number it will give you a bit of information about the number and in order to know more you have to pay for a report thing but I wouldnt do that unless the information is pretty important to find out. Otherwise, I suggest you just google "reverse phone lookup" or "reverse number lookup" and you will get other sites like 411.com and so on... Hope this helps!
