How many days does airmail take from the U.K to CA?

How long does it REALLY take to post something Airmail from the UK to USA?

  • I sent a small parcel under normal airmail small packages, the website says 3 - 5 working days is their intended delivery time. It's going to a fairly large town/city with its own airport, not some back-of-beyond village in the middle of nowhere. It has now been 8 working days and not delivered. Does anyone on here regularly post to the States, and if so how long does it REALLY take? Incidentally, the 2 letters I have had from my friend recently took just 3 days to arrive here - quicker than 2nd class UK mail!

    We posted 1st dec, still not arrived there yet. Last year we posted 1st week dec, they received it 2nd week jan. I have also posted christmas cards to someone less than 5 miles away and they haven't as yet got them (posted them 2 weeks ago!) I think the there must be something in the post box that eats all my letters :) Have a great christmas everyone.

depends on whom you sent it with. e.g. UPS, fedex , dhl etc. a brought something from usa shop and it took roughly a week from dispatched of the item could be 2-3weeks but you should of gotten a tracking number so you can track it online

At this time of year who knows when its likely to arrive. Normally between 3-5 days.

between 5-7 days depending on how busy they are i ordered something from there and it came within 7 days
