Tips for my first day of highschool as a Freshman?

be yourself. be natural. be confident. be spontaneous. dont make a big deal about it. dont be afraid to ask for help. but most of all, watch out for hungry seniors :)

Definitely act like you've been there before. Don't do anything annoying, and dont get in upper classmens ways.

Kay, so let's begin. ha. 1) Don't act like you're better than the older students they will get pissed off. haha. 2) Be yourself you're going to be meeting new people and making new friends, so thats important. 3) Be confident. 4) HAVE FUN. You're only a freshman once. ha, LIVE IT UP. :D 5) Don't be too nervous, its just like middle school. You'll learn your schedule and eventually be on time. 6) Don't freak out about being late the first couple days, teachers are chill about that. 7) Make sure you DO impress the teachers, be respectful. 8) Make sure you look CUTE.haha. 9) LET YOUR MOM TAKE PICTURES. It's not everyday her little girl goes to High School. Chill, and just smile for her picture. It'll be better than fighting with your mom, and it'll make her happy. Plus you'll eventually want to look back, and laugh. 10) EAT BREAKFEAST. You don't want your stomach growling all during homeroom. also BUY lunch on the first day. FUN 1) Make sure you take time to pick out an outfit and pick the makeup you're gonna wear.And do your hair. HAVE FUN. 2)Maybe have a home spa, sorta thing the night before. my first 2 weeks i woke up super early to b totally pre paired. do things with your friends together so you will be more positive and will take stress off. the first week or so will allow you a lot of time to pass class to class. you will be fine. my sister is doing the same thing this year. be shoure to be their for freshmen round up. it will allow you to get familiar with your classes and maby teachers. GOOD LUCK!

yep.. i took summer school before my freshman year.. helped me get familiar with the campus. depending on the shape of your school, the map might not be the best idea, if u get stuck/lost once... consider asking for help BEFORE you have to get to another class, or ask someone who appears friendly to help you. -- the 1st day outfit always helps, look your best so you can be your best in un-known territory. speaking of territory, seniors arent always the only mean upper classmen, i think all grades can be territorial at times, try not to get in their way the first couple days... it can be annoying, youll see what i mean in abt a year. remember when lunch is.. dont get so caught up you forget about your breaks.. hmm, my first day i wish i knew how RUDE some highschool teachers are, expect that some of them may be just as cruel, raw && uncut, obnoxious as the students. sometimes, teachers who put on an extremely mean act, like telling you they dont take anycrap for most of the hour... turn out not to be so mean, they are only trying to get rid of the "bad-seeds" Less nervous? just consider, its school, uve been doing it for 8+ years already.. ultimately, everything will turn out fine -- be yourself, dont try so hard to impress people, if anything you are there to impress your teachers (++ some of them cant stand suck-ups). im sure you'll find that the most liked people in school are the ones that are comfortable being themselves. random tips, dont be nervous if you have to eat lunch alone.. u might actually be more comfortable sitting and eating than wandering in search of 'friends' uhh, use the first day/week to figure out what your teachers are REALLY like.. like what classes you can text in/ leave (some teachers let you get away with ALOT in highschool, as long as you keep your due dates) -- texting may be helpful if you make a friend or have friends you cant find/ need to help you with something... most rules in highschool bend.. ITS NEVER TOO SOON TO MAKE FRIENDS, the bigger your circle, the more you benefit, you never know what people have to offer you so.. dont be annoying, but dont hold back if opportunity knocks (i.e. asking a person you sat next to in class a question) just answer, dont become mute. the sooner you get comfortable, the sooner your nerves go away, like i said earlier, just be you it isnt THAT big a deal, you'll catch on. just rellaaxxx...it wil be really fun...don't make it such a big deal. pretty soon you'll be so over it, it's totally unnecasary to freak out about it...but i mean i totally did too!! just wear a cute outfit the first day....and that will give you confidence with everything else! GOOODDD LUCKK!!!!
