Which foreign language is having maximum demand?

  • I am a B.E. (Computer) student. I wish to learn a foreign language that will help me improve my resumé. I am well versed in English and Hindi. I can learn up-to 2 foreign languages. I didn't know that it was required for an engineering student to learn any language other than English and Hindi but our forms for the Campus Interview have a section regarding the number of foreign languages known and further details. Please help me select 2 languages that will give me an edge over others.

    I suggest German and Japanese. In both regions English is not very popular and knowledge of their native languages will help in business dealings with them.

The two most widely spoken languages include 1. Spanish (Spoken in Parts of America as well as Europe and Asia) 2. Japanese (Because majority of Japanese will not know English and Japan occupies an important place among the computer engineering circle.) This will give you a huge edge!
