What is the best university to study law?

I want to study law at Columbia university. what should i do in high school to get a scholarship ?

  Whether you'll be able to study law at Columbia depends much more on what you do in college than in high school. As you must know, law school follows your undergraduate education. I'm going to assume you want your undergraduate years to transpire at Columbia, as well, and answer your question in that light. By the way, if you wind up attending Columbia as an undergrad, you may be able to go on to study law there via the Holthusen-Schindler Scholarship. Columbia is reputed to have one of the best need-based financial aid programs in the country, so your family's income is much less relevant than you might imagine. Unless you're an international student or a minority (or are interested in engineering), the only merit-based scholarship that you'd be eligible for is the John Jay. To win it, you'll have to learn to be more resourceful (I found all of this information on the Columbia website), improve your writing (if your post is any evidence of your skill), participate in a community service program (Habitat for Humanity is an excellent choice), and find a broad array of internships in which to participate during your summers; the more opportunities you have to demonstrate your brilliance, the more likely the admissions committee is to select you for the John Jay.
