What you need to know to write a letter of recommendation?

I am asking a few of my teachers to write letters of recommendation for me for when I apply for a job. (I'm just a junior in high school fyi). One of them asked me to make a list of things I would want included.. but I don't really know what that would be besides outside-of-school activities that I am a part of. Help?
