Help With Grades (America) and Years (England)?
-
I'm in S1 (12, 13 in december) and I live in Scotland. My dad's job means we have to move around a lot but we've been ok so far 'cos we've only moved around in Scotland. This move means we've either got to move to England or America (the company hadn't decided yet). I don't know what year I will be in if I move to England or what grade if it's America. Can someone please tell me!

Answer:
Well according to your age a usual 12/13 year old would be in the 7th grade. Which would be middle school in America. I'm not sure about England though. You might have t take tests to see where you are at.

In England you would be in S2 which the English call year 9. The American system I don't know for sure but you would be in middle school, or junior high.
