How is Pennsylvania's school system?

Would you please give me information about the Canadian public school/education system?

• Okay, thanks. So...I need information about Canada's public schools/education system. Do they have high school? What's a school day like? What do they call the grades? Do they have grades? What are the mandatory ages for students (4-14 for example...just guessing here)? How do they grade assignments? GPA or...? What are the colleges like? College education mandatory? When do people go to college (if they do)? What are the schools like? Do they have public schools? Do you have to pay for your education (like in grade school) or is it free? Do you pay for textbooks in high school? Do you have lockers? How long is the school day? What classes are there in high school? What's the school day schedule? Do they have recess? Lots of homework? No homework? Do the schools have a mandatory P.E. (physical education/gym) class? What sports do they play? Any information would be helpful, the more the better. Mostly I'm looking for information on what I guess would be high school in Canada. Thanks.

  yes theres high school 6 hours usualy from 9 to 3 grade 7 , 8 9, uno in elementaary school its a-d junior high is gpa same with highschool theres collage and university no its not manditor yes theres public and catholic skools no you dont have to pay for elem,jinior or highskool but colege yes yes you pay for textbooks in highskool yes you have lockers school days are 9 to 3 theres math, science,music/guitar and band, drama,religon if you want it,english,french if you want it, i cant think of ne more but theres lots ,civics, you have 4 classes and half way theres lunch long lunch and half way through the year you pick 4 more forthe next half of the year theres not that much h/w ya theres gum and i think you have to do it but u can choose when they play like football soccer ,baseball,and like stupid games and theres fitness testing at the start of it and at the end theres also alternit skool u basicly do this book of work and you get the credit for it its pretty awsome thats what im in (i got kicked outa normal skool, but its realy simple to do i love it.
