How can I make new friends in middle school?

    I know, making friends in a new school is though. Usually it come naturally, but it it doesn't here is some advise: Don't be afraid to talk to people you don't know. Also, if they start a conversation with you, don't answer and then become quite. Carry on the flow, and express your personal opinion on the subject. Also, if someone else is new, and looks like they are alone and lonely then they probably have the same problem. Anyway, just don't be shy!

be outgoing! :] say 'hi' to people. and be funny and stuff. everyone wants to make new friends on their first day, so of course they'll do the same back!

Join clubs. That way you'll meet people that are interested in the same thing you are. Oh, and don't just sit there waiting for people to talk to you. It doesn't work, lol.

Join some school clubs! In areas, of course, that interest you.

Strike up a conversation. Tell someone you like their shoes or shirt or haircut or something. Ask them about a homework assignment or if they have seen the movie you saw last weekend. Relax, and just be yourself. You'll make friends over the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, join as many organizations without overdoing it. Chorus, sports, student council, whatever. I just got out of middle school and I wishI had joined more groups.
