What's your study habit?

In daytime I study on my desk and the place should be absolutely quiet. I study with no voice an if anyone see me while studying they think I'm daydreaming. Nighttime is almost the same but a big tea flask should be near me.

whenever I'm alone, I just walk and study loud and as you said like I'm teaching, but when I'm not alone I just lay down on my bed and study. and I can't study anything even a word after 6 or 7 PM and that's really weird cuz most of my friends can just study at night (:

If I study I would stay in a quiet room, and I won't study with loud voice. Reading with loud voice may sometimes help, but not as long as others are around you. One problem I have is that I'm lazy studying lessons or books I don't like. So, on exams I used to lay on a sofa, or on my bed and a few minutes later I went to sleep. So, I never recommend it. Some people like to walk while they read their text books, and this is the worst thing they can do, because your brain can't focus both on reading and understanding the book and walking. The same problem goes with reading in front of TV, or while music being played. If you really want to understand what you study, you should study in a quiet place, preferably behind a desk. Studying is tiring, so, take breaks on a regular schedule. And have schedule for everything.

well, I used to have ur brother's habit for some years! but it does not work for exams or entrance exam! I explain the book word by word to the mirror! and I never forget!!! it is psychologically proven way!

silently, reading and learning...and sometimes jotting down points in red ink. noise rarely disturbs me...

I am the same, I love reading out loud. It is incredible how I access the information and in fact remember it. At other times I read silently. Or download the books in audio format if they are available. My suggestion is to listen to your mind and body and enjoy the variety of learning style that you can uncover in yourself. Besides it is kind of uninteresting to study in the same style. Learning must be done with an incredible amount of creative, confident and happy self. Enjoy!

Lately, my study habit has been my mom nagging at me about everything while I try to study. Not that I like it, but I've kinda gotten used to it anyway.

I can't study with white lite, it must be yellow and same as you I have trouble studying in very quite places I need some noise around me and also people's presence I can't study in isolation or like those study rooms or cubicals if you know what I'm talking about ! more importantly I need to spread my books on the table so I hate to study in tight and narrow spaces, and I study my subjects randomly sometimes I start from the begining sometimes from the final chapters or anywhere in between. I prefer to study alone but sometimes group study works too so I'm not so uptight about that. actually I lkie your question because it is a technical one I remember we had like a whole course back first year in college about this and also in Iran there was a subject named "mind strategies" that they thaught us how to study for konkoor. altoghether I mostly prefer to study individually first and then review it by teaching what I learnt to someone. good luck!
