How to become a Chinese teacher?

How can i become a teacher when i leave school?

• i want to become a teacher and yesturday at school one of my teachers said somthin that made me think oh maybe theres a chance. she said u dont have to have a brain to be a teacher and u can teach what evr subject ur stronger at and i said french but i dont want to become a french teacher i want to become a ict or pe teacher because im kinda good at them. i want to know what steps i will need to take in becomin a teacher in the future. please answer this question and dont be nasty. im in the uk (northern ireland)

  you do have to be smart to be a teacher. whatever subject you choose, you'll have to study in detail. even if you're just teaching pre-school. My friend was studying advanced math to become a math teacher in primary school. so you better excel in the chosen subject. Also, you have to be practical and have an intuition in teaching students. If you want to try it first and you're a native speaker of english, do a TEFL or Celta certificate (about 6 months), go to Asia and teach English for a year. I recommend Indonesia or Thailand. You'll see if you like it first. Teaching is not for everyone!
