What are jobs that are similar to that of a bodyguards?

What are some teaching jobs/fellowships, similar to Teach for America? ?

• I'm a college senior, double major in Biological Sciences and Asian Studies. I'm finishing my degrees and looking for some jobs to help me gain experience and money in "the real world" before I go for grad school/medical school. My GPA is only 3.01 now, but I'm relatively strong in other areas. I applied to an early deadline of Teach for America but I think I uploaded a slightly "draft" version of an essay there and can't change that draft anymore and it looks like I may have little chance to get accepted by TFA there. What are some similar programs? I applied to Phoenix Teaching Fellows just now, similar I was originally from Phoenix and wanted to give back to home city. I don't mind where I work , any city, any state in US.

  Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but I know those programs well. The unstated rule for all similar programs is that they are looking for future teachers. They are not looking to put their time and effort into people who for whatever reasons are going to leave at the end of the program. Even at TFA's own website - they success stories they highlight all still have a connection to education. To answer your question there are tons of regional programs that are designed to get people into the education field. The bad part for your particular situation - is that they are designed to get people in for the long run. It is very expensive to run a program that replaces state certification - ask any teacher who paid for it on their own. 2 Years graduate work at UCLA is nothing to sneeze at.
