I am a Chinese,how can I learn English and speak English well??

Immersion therapy! I believe the only way to really learn a language is to go to the country and isolate yourself from people who speak your own language. It's amazing the human brain's ability to pick up a language when it has to.

go into a Headway course, i dont know if there is any in where you are staying, but it is the best course that will teach you to speak really well

there is a big difference in learning and speaking...right said..you need a friend who can talk to you and more important, correct you, when you go wrong...you can learn english from the tons of free ebooks available on the net (english grammar)..will send you some.. have fun..

The shortest way to speaking a foreign language is to fall in love with a native speaker. Take it from me, I speak five languages fluently and on the hunt for a sixth.

Best way is to find (if you are living in china) a foreign student who is a native english speaker, to praactise with daily. In exchange, you can teach him chinese. good luck.

I'm a Chinese too, and I know your problem, actully it's useful to learn and speak Eng well if you can come to the foreign forums like this one, and go to buy some foreign language books and read it loudly. Finally you just save much money and go abroad to practice your pronunciation with a living foreigner. Good luck!
