i am trying to get my teaching assistant certification in New York and i was wondering if anyone knows any books, a book or study guides that are out there that can help? The website offers one but really doesn't help much.

There is one out there for the PRaxis. Take a look at it. Same basic info. I looked at: http://www.nystce.nesinc.com/PDFs/NY_fld095_prepguide.pdf Go get a Praxis one suggested above or any ACT or PRaxis I test book.
