What is the American equivalent of a British 2:2 degree?

Getting a masters degree in the UK to teach in the US? UK equivalent to MAT?

• Hello, Is there a direct equivalent to the MAT or Masters of Education in England? What recommendations would there be for an American student with a bachelor's degree in education hoping to study abroad in England for their Master's degree, but wanting to return to the US to teach? I know actual licensure varies by state -- but degree wise the MAT is the most common graduate degree for US teachers. Is it possible or at all practical to get a teaching graduate degree in England?   Do you as a student and watching the news about whats going on here in the United States think is a good move to try to come out here and teach do you that schools are closing down and teachers are looking for a new career. I actually work for a great company called Primerica and I work with people who use to be teachers and who are teachers and they are soooooo excited and glad that they found this company because they make more in a month then what they use to make in a year being a teacher and they found that they can teach people in the company to build their business in the company to peoplle who want to listen and learn and actually this company was started by 7 school teachers please think about it and respond to me if you might be interested in hearing more.
