What is the best way to learn English?

What is the best way for foreigners to learn proper english?

  • I'm learning englsih as the second language. and I'm outside the states. for those of you who have degrees in English Education or have any experience in teaching englsih to people from outside U.S , what are the basic problems you could find in english learners and what do you think would help people like me have as good a command of english as American people would believe I'm totally kidding If i told them I have never been to U.S or any other english-speaking countries. thank you.

    All schools have English as a Second Language courses. ESL. There are also tons of sites online that cover how to teach someone to speak standard English. Second grade in the US is the most critical information year for understanding vowels, grammar and writing foundation. My mom was born in Italy and moved to th US when she was 6.. she had to learn it.. but because she was totally submerged into it the language was easy to learn.. Vice versa too. I learned italian when I lived with my aunt and uncle in Italy for a while.
