What are the chances for a teacher to lose your homework?

  • I'm just wondering because I get really paranoid when I turn in my homework. Here are some of the factors: 1. I sit in the 3rd row out of 4 and you have to pass your homework to two other students and there are no rows, you just pass the homework randomly up. 2. The teacher is kind unorganized and just stacks all the homework she gets in a giant pile with each period. 4. The chance that the paper could fall in the floor randomly. 5. The possibility he can accidentally skip my homework paper. I'm sure there are more possibility if there are please add them. I just want to know what % is it that the teacher could lose it.

    Small. I've been teaching for 30 years, and I think in that time I've lost someone's homework twice.

yes and if you think there is, why don't you make a copy of your homework or save it to your computer or here's a suggestion, when everyone passes theirs up, pretend you couldn't find yours, interrupt class and hand yours personally to her.

why dont you just give your teacher the homework urself? instead of passing it to another row.

you have like an 8% chance your teacher will lose your homework. it happened to me three times in highschool (all three times by the same teacher) she was so un-organized it wasnt even funny, one time the boys knocked over her homework 'rack' & papers went flyin everywhere, and one time a boy stole my homework but she knew that i had turned it in & got full credit for it :D

I don't think that it happens very often and even if it does, the principle value of homework is in the doing. However, if you really concerned about it, you can make a copy. In any event, you need to relax or not worry about such insignificant things. The stress from worrying is much worse for you than any potential negative result o losing your homework.

here are the possible chances 1. somebody tried to sabotage you 2. that teacher of yours is somewhat lazy such that she has skipped yours 3. your teacher maybe has forgotten your homework somewhere 4. your teacher might have a kid who plays with his/her things without his/her knowledge 5. your teacher just really pretends that s/he has lost your homework. but actually s/he just wants to revenge against you funny chances 1. your teacher has to deficate that time and it happened that s/he has to use your paper to wipe his/her feces 2. his/her things were stolen when went somewhere 3. s/he unfortunately did not recognize the things s/he has to throw or not to trash such that your paper was included. 4. s/he forgot your paper to a secret place wherein s/he cannot anymore go back to protect his/her reputation 5. your teacher might have mixed his/her things with the other teachers' things sorry for these nonsensical chances. but still they are all possible;)
