You said that it is a different school but did not specify if is the same school dstrict. If the same district, it is possible that you would be released from your duties in order to attend the interview and would not lose pay. If you interview in another district, you would use a personal day since you say you are on salary, not hourly.

If you were to get paid, it would have to come out of some pool of leave that you have- personal leave, or sick leave. Usually, there are a certain number of days or hours that you can take off each year.
