Teachers: How can you tell if a student has a 'crush' on you?

MALE TEACHERS!!!! FEMALE STUDENT... CRUSH... WOULD YOU KNOW?

  • Ok so i have this math teacher that i kind of admire but sometimes i think of him being attractive and stuff. In class when he is like teaching i usually copy what he writes on the board but then look at him and he will give a light smile, he has winked at me before like saying hi and stuff, and i am a really nice person and just smile a lot in general but do you think my teacher would think i have a crush on him if im looking at him when he is giving a lesson and kind of smiling at him???? not like a oooh you are hott kind of smile more like yes i get math! kind of smile or if a female student just stares at you or something what would you think? by the way im just curious he is happily married and i would NEVER do anything with a teacher! so my question is if a female student was staring at you/smiling what would you think would you think oh why is she smiling thats weird, or would you think she is happy thats good??? should i stop doing this??

    I doubt it unless they told me because I don't assume smiling at me or answering a lot of questions or puppy eyes automatically means there is an attraction to me. I have female students that I know like me but for what I bring to their education, not because they fantasize what is underneath my clothes. If any of them have that fantasy, they have kept it well hidden and again, I don't go looking for that.

Most teachers would think " that girl enjoys her maths." It is so great to have a happy student that smiles at you when you are teaching... This teacher is happily married so I don't think he would be thinking you have a crush on him. All teachers love a OOhh I get this subject smile, it makes you look pretty, intelligent and happy... If you have a crush on your teacher, make it a good thing. Let it motivate you to work hard on your homework and learn all the material. Ask questions in class. But be careful not to let it distract you from listening while he's teaching.

Hi, I think you should not pay attention to this simple things, If the teacher has married, dont worry about him. But if you can make your habit less not to stimulate the teacher.

I'm not a teacher, but if i was i would think "that girl most really love math". it's ok to crush on a teacher but just as long as you don't make it obvious, you could day dream and all but don't stare at him, you might creep the dude out (jk)

i would say they prob do tbh. i mean my mate used to have a crazy crush on our teacher....she followed him outside and stuff, blocked the corrider so he would have to talk to her, go to his revision lessons WHEN IT WAS JUST HER GOING
