What Qualifications do I need to become a Secondary school Irish language teacher?
-
I am doing my GCSE's this year, and would like to know what subjects I need to keep on for A level, and what do I do after that? Also, if I am qualified for this, do I need any other qualifications to be a primary school teacher? Thanks.

Answer:
Well Done and you're already on the right track for completing your GCSE's. It depends on yourself what subjects you want to keep on. You must get 5 or more C-A* grades to progress though, After completing your AS and A2's you will progress on to a degree in what you want to teach. Followed by a PGCE where you become a qualified teacher. So in 6 years you could be teaching.
