There are 2 students in the class? How Curving it is going to work?
-
OK, there are 2 undergraduate students in the class+20 graduate students. The instructor said he is going to curve the undergraduate students differently.I know it is easy to curve for the 20 students but How the curve is going to work for the two undergraduate students?
-
Answer:
Any way he curves it, it will be in your favor. A curved grade isn't always a good thing. For half the students, it is in their favor. For the other half, it is not. All curved means is "relative" to the rest of the class. It is used to make sure the material is not too difficult nor too easy. It helps professors and schools to keep an adequate curriculum. Don't worry. The professor will not expect you to have an indepth understanding of the material. Any curve or compensation he gives you will be in your favor. You will probbably learn a lot though, just from class discussions!
