Can teacher tell when student likes her?
-
So I'm a sophomore in high school & I have a same-sex crush on my female teacher. We would always have eye contact, but recently she's been acting weird around me & avoiding me. Does she know I like her? I've liked her for about 4 months now, but only a week ago she began acting like she dislikes me. So I wanna know if any teachers can tell if a student likes them & how they would react to it/deal with it. I have never acted on my crush thou. Has this ever happened to a teacher? Or do teachers ever have slight crushes on their students?

Answer:
Yes, and it makes us very nervous. It's not that she doesn't like you- she's just trying not to lead you on so there won't be any misunderstandings. Just cool it for a while, and she'll go back to being friendly.
