  • i only stay in my previous job for two-month.i quit it because i made a mistake for lack of experience.how can i tell it to my future boss?

  • Answer:

The way you have admitted here and telling the employer if he asks you, why you left. It is honesty the first quality required for teaching. It will definitely be appreciated and from my side you deserve to be employed again. VR.

well it depends upon what kind of change u r getting in ur new job and how much exp u have. let say u r having around 2yrs of exp then u can put up like in ur preveious job u were given the task that was not even mentioned in the intrv and more over that wont suits to ur profile and interest also or may be they want to send u abroad and in current scenerio u can go because of some family problems. may be i can help u if u let me know in detail about u and ur profile and the actual reason of job change.

Well, unless you want to tell us what the mistake was so that we can figure out how to positive spin on it, why not just leave it off your resume?

The easiest way to tell a new employer why you left your last job, is for personal reasons. He may ask if he can call that employer, and you will want to say yes. The only information he can get would be that you worked there. The Human resources department can only say you worked there, and maybe your attendance. Why did you leave if you only made a mistake? You should stop running for your mistakes and face them, and then you will not make the same mistake again.

Depending on where you live, most states only allow past employers to answer a variation of the following question: "Are they eligible for rehire?" In most states it is understood that your reason for leaving could be open to interpretation, and therefore, any more than this would be considered slanderous. So, put whatever you want, most calls to previous employers receive a wouldn't rehire answer, especially when you're in upper management, simply because past employers don't want to run the risk of a person who is good, going to another company and competing against hem.

Honesty is the best policy. There is not a thing wrong with how you just put the reason why you left your job. Don't be too hard on yourself. We all make mistakes Hey, you stuck in there for two months, right? I had a simular experience myself so I know how you feel. Just be honest and try to better prepared for the next time. Also, if you need more training in the future let your boss know.

A frank confession and admission of mistake and a promise not to repeat in future would help.

you state the problem and what you learned from it they don't expect you to be perfect, you can make mistakes just show that you learned from them and you've grown
