What Organizations are the Best for Teaching Abroad?

Question about monster.com teaching abroad opportunity?

• I recently posted my resume on monster.com in hopes of getting an opportunity to begin my teaching career. I have had a couple of responses from organizations offering about 2-3 thousand a month to teach abroad with free rent and a few other benefits sometimes even medical benefits. Then, after a year in this beginner mode they offer you a full-time position abroad with more benefits and better pay. I ahve no teaching experience and feel this would be a good way to get my teaching career off to a good start. Has anyone out there ever heard off these organizations offering jobs teaching English abroad? Are they reputable? I believe that one of the organizations was called "Footprints" and the other was called "Outside the Box." Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, David

  I would be very very cautious about these ads. Most reputable international schools want you to have at least two years of experience before you teach overseas. The two major agencies that place international teachers are ISS and Search Associates. If the schools are not listed with either, they are probably not reputable.
