America! British talk is overrated and loaded with colloquialisms with limited meaning outside the UK, whereas American English is the talk of the world.

The best place to learn a foreign language is between the sheets! (o.k. o.k., or in a household) England or the U.S. is your preference. A lot to weigh in the options there. The town you end up in could make all the difference.

if you want to speak English fluently....... go through the lots of English Cd's and listen their pronunciation by using headset and practice(talk) more with your friends and colleagues with out fluctuations... then you will get success.

I would recommend you go to England. The British respect their language (to a cirtain degree) I dont know about the Australians though. Anyway Im African (Botswana) but i was raised in England. Since my country is a former colony of the British most things done in my country follow the British system especially the education and thats the English i have been taught. Im living in America now and I have a hard time understanding the way the Americans talk and write. The British language in my opinion is more direct and refind and interesting to listen to. The American english isnt bad but it feels different somehow and confusing also its less formal and slightly slangy. But anyway the secret to learning english (or any language) is to expose yourself to as much of it as possible. I recommend you expose yourself to British media and english speakers where possible like the BBC radio and programming. If you want to learn a refined and proper form of English with adroit grammer and vernacular I would expose myself to BRITISH English. If you want to learn a more dynamic and less rigid form of English then I would go American. For someone who says they dont know english well you seem to know enough to be able to write a good question without any problems,,,,GOOD LUCK

No need to go anywhere. The best way to learn english or for that matter any language is to read read read read read read read read read read read read read read read and read. read newspapers and talk to people in english, think in english, sleep and drink in english, dream in english. Thats it. Jokes aside, this really works. Thats how i learnt german.

Well, you're doing a fine job typing in English, so I'm assuming you already know a lot of English. I live in Canada, and I think you should consider coming here. We're like America except more multi-cultural. Any of those options would be fine if you're just interested in speaking English though. You should look into a few English countries and see if you find anything out about them that you are interested in (besides just the language).
