What are the steps on how to work abroad as a nurse?

I want to work in a homes with disabled children.?

• I want to work in a home with children that have mental disabilities. I have asked how to become a respite worker before and the reply was to talk to my school councilor but our school councilor is really no help. I was also told i should become a nurse and get lots of medical training but i know a few people who work is respite homes and they never went through medical training. I would ask them about it but i dont know how to contact them. So does anyone know what exact courses i have to take and what steps to follow to become a in home respite worker with children.

  look under social services in the employment section of the newspaper you can work in group homes or recreational programs as an aide with only a high school diploma with a degree you can manage a program-- you can get a degree iin sociology, education, pyschology-not necessarily nursing look for ARC (association for retarded citizens) some willl hire teens or at least have volunteer programs also look up the special olympics
