Culinary Schools? Good vs BAD?
-
I want to go to culinary school and become a chef. Does it matter if I go to a cheap one?(say a community college type) or should i aim for the top prestige culinary school out there? I don't have a lot of money to spend 50k per semester. any culinary schools out there that is good but will not break my wallet?

Answer:
Hi John. Without a doubt look into what your local community college offers. It will give you a chance to get your hands dirty and figure out if you really want to continue culinary training - and save you a ton of cash while doing it as well. Once you take a few classes at a CC and decide that you 100% want to be a chef, look into a high quality culinary school such as Culinary Institute of America or Le Cordon Bleu Culinary. Hope this helps.
