I need help writing an objective for my resume.

HELP! I need help with an objective for my resume!?

  • ok... so i need to write a fun and catchy objective on my resume. i want to obtain a career in customer service. and im applying to alot of companies that need secretary's... i just don't know what to say... so if you are good at writing objective, please give me a few words to help. im really fun and outgoing, and love being around people, i just don't know how to make a good one! :)

    I would just put something like: Seeking a challenging career with a progressive organization which will utilize my exemplary customer service skills and abilities.

Quite frankly, objectives are NOT supposed to be catchy. They are supposed to be to the point. That doesn't mean they should be blank and short-it means they simply should be concretely stated and not too wordy. If you want to be create do it later in the resume, or if they make you write an essay do it them. Don't do it on the objective, otherwise you're basically saying you can't make objectives, which is bad for just about any job.

Make sure to get a dictionary while you're at your resume writing. I can think of NOTHING worse than incorrect spelling sent out on a resume. And nix the word "really."
