• Hi All, I am an engineering graduate and I live in Pune, one of India's emerging IT hubs. I have been doing a job in software QA for 3 years now. It would be a bit harsh if I say 'I dislike my job' but fortunately or unfortunately, I have reached that point in life where everybody has to question themselves, "What is my path?" I have been pursuing vocal Indian Classical Music for about 10 years. I have also passed 7 grade exams in vocal music. Music is my passion and I would like to take it forward. Apart from becoming a vocalist, I would also like to be involved in some kind of research activity related to music. Just the other day, I happened to read about 'Music Therapy' and I am continuously browsing several web pages related to it ever since. I have always wanted to pursue a masters degree course but did not know in what discipline. Well, music therapy has struck a chord with me. I am an outgoing kind of person and take genuine interest in interacting with people of different ages and strata. I have good command over written and spoken English too. If everything works out well, I would simply love to pursue an MS in Music Therapy, in the US. Please can anyone that has done this course or have an idea about the exams, best universities for music therapy course, job opportunities revert back with a detailed reply?   I recommend you contact the American Association for Music Therapy. I have my undergraduate degree in Music Therapy. This is the organization that certifies people in the U.S. If you email them or call them they will have all the information you need.
