How many hours does it take to get certified in Wilson Reading?
-
I need to understand how many hours of training are needed to be certified in Wilson Reading. My niece is supposed to have a certified Wilson Reading Teacher. We found out that the teacher is not certified in the program and is going through the process now. She is in the 4th grade so the teacher would need more then just the basic introduction program.

Answer:
Wilson takes two years of direct training. Teachers can begin after a few months of training the beginning of the program. As your neice progresses it is possible for the teacher to progress. It takes 2 years of training and supervision.
