How do you study most effectively?

How can i Study Effectively?

  • I'm in high school and currently in year 9. I'm a smart person in my opinion, people say i'm intelligent and i do well in class. But sometimes when it comes to exams i just don't get the mark i expected. I mean i've never failed but i get 80-90% It may sound all right to you but i want to do better i mean over 90% thats all i want. Now the obvious problem here is that i'm not studying effectively, by saying this i mean that i just can't concentrate and i don't know how to revise properly on the notes in my books. So basically i need tips on studying and how to do it more effectively. I'd be very grateful to you all if you could help me out. Thnx :P P.S. I wan't to take doctor as a profession.

  • Answer:

There are different things you could do to study effectively. One key factor is to understand what you're reading/studying as opposed to merely memorizing things. One thing that has helped me is to write things down. I make study guides for every test/exam. I also try to consolidate information. Flash cards tend to help me a great deal as well, especially with definitions. One thing that helps too is if you teach others about something, you are more likely to remember it yourself. If you are still looking for assistance, you may want to contact your school guidance center or a local education center. I wish you great success! :)
