How to be an oncology nurse?
-
hi, i recently graduated and passed my nursing board exam. As a registered nurse, i would like to pursue my career as an oncology nurse specializing in chemotherapy. i don't know the steps to get certified and to get licensed. So what do I do?
-
Answer:
CONGRATS!! I would try and find a job on an oncology floor in a hospital. During the interview, ask the manager how you go about becoming certified in chemotherapy administration. I think it would show great initiative on your part and might even help you get the job...if not, at least you will get a great answer from someone who knows the field!
