I have tourettes syndrome does anyone else have it?

I am 99.99% sure that I have tourettes. The thing is, my parents refuse to take me to a doctor so I won't know until I am old enough to drive. (I'm 13) some of my tics are Full body twitch Squeaking Screaming Saying "wow" Backwards throat clearing Those are just some of mine. You should add me as a contact. :)

I have a friend with it who's a professional snooker player. He's from the north east. I've seen a few people with it in the past.

I have Tourette's. Mine's very noticeable, and sometimes really painful or makes it hard to do things, like walk, use my hands, or even sit up or catch my breath or speak--my tics are very large and forceful. I'm in the US, though, not the UK. Yes, quite a few people with TS find their tics are reduced in adulthood--most still have some degree of tics, but not nearly as severe as they were in their childhood/teen years. Oh, and there's support groups online, lik here on Yahoo, look udner "groups". Try typing tourette into the search box under groups, you'll find dozens! And on Facebook, I'dr ecommend Tic Talk for someone who wants a supportive environment for a page (it's a private page so nobody outside the group can see the posts in it) on TS.
