• I am a father of three daughterss who have been attending public schools for the last 25 years. My youngest one now is a fourth grader. Also I have been a school volunteer and an election clerk for the past 20 years. What am writing this is a request asking all presidential candidates to support my self-promoted ideas and movement for a new Constitutional Amendment- to be known as Bills of Education Amendment- added to our US Constitutionn. What has been bothering me most living my life in US so far? In a quarter of century, while many other industrialized nations tirelessly carried out the missions of building a future using solid and upgraded educational achievements, the American people have been constantly tempted to listen endlessly to partisan wrangles and campaign rhetoric. Politically, the US seems to disfranchise American children's rights for a future earned through better education systems. With so many unsolved problems and no other choices, the systems continue to allow majority of American students graduate lacking of essential knowledge, sustainable skills, advanced methods, healthy behaviors, and loving, caring hearts. The arguments and discussions on school problems and education setbacks in this country will go on, perhaps for another 25 years. But what's crystal clear is that the American future has been at risk for quite sometime. Everything that our leaders have have tried to advance our society through education and schools has experimentally done so deadly wrong that lead the USA to the points as we see it as of today 01/05/2012, where massive failures and huge problems compounded by economic downturns, high unemployment, budget crisis, health care dilemma, and social instabilities. These painful experiences in our modern history have been caused logically and mitigated forcefully by our own poor and fragile education systems. In the meantime the improvements and reforms that have been fundamentally made in many state's local school districts are not new, but just rearrangements of what already exists.Same wine has been cleverly put into new decorative bottles. The federal agency, US Department of Education with its cheer-leadingg jobs- in fashionable styles from the beginning has consistently produced no positive results. Other federal education policies, from Lyndon Johnson's Elementary and Secondary Education Acts, Ronald Regan's Nation At Risk- Education Assessments, Bill Clinton's Goals 2000, George W. Bush's No Child Left Behind to Barack Obama's Race To The Top, all have failed and failed systematically because they have been protections of partisan ideologies, special interest groups, and individualism selfishness. Furthermore our US Supreme Court has been busy with conlicting, monumental cases that asked for interpretations and definitions of which and what rights or responsibilities in education agendas from state or federal shall be for local schools. Finally, across the country, career politicans just take advantage of deep divisions among social-class constituencies, confusing election environments, and parents' thirst for answes to growing school problems to run for public offices. They skillfully utilize tactics of how to promise,blame, and debate to get elected. The unsolved problems in our education systems keep got messier and take roots deep further down after elections. Absolutely, nothing has been improve meaningfully to meet enduring national challenges in our US education. No single voice, leadership, and accountability for what have happened and failed in the education business in this nation we call the United States of America. Frankly the " solutions " or " enacted legislatures also have forced the American people to share bilions and bilions of their tax dollars in collective searches for the answers during the last 25 years but exhaustely ended up empty-handed. Unless there is something new that has its full capacity to drastically change everything on the landscape, the USA is about heading to unbearable social havocs that will certainly take more American citizens to the points of slow but total collapse with their own two feet on the American soil. Is there any option left available for US to prevent such a foreseenable destruction and to safeguard the America from breaking into pieces? The United States of America must change its Constitution and add new amendments - to be known as Bills of Education - that deal specically, directly with its ineffective and cancerous education systems as soon as possible. One of those amendments shall include clauses to A) Establish a second vice president position whose leadership shall be elected independently by nation-wide election and whose responsibilities are upon obligations of national education agendas and academic achievements. B) To redefine and spell out clearly delegate powers, accountabilities and responsibilities. C) To restructure the whole ed
