The intermediate unit for each school district educates special education students. Most of those classrooms have an LPN. So first become an LPN, then apply with the I.U. Call your school first though to see that they use nurses.

learning disability is something like dyslexia (in the US) it is an educational diagnosis they do not have LD nurses it is not true that all districts have an intermediate unit for special education with an LPN in the classroom (at least in the US) people fail to realize that this is the WWW and what goes on in their little world is not true of the whole world. even in countries where LD means intellectual disability, most people with intellectually disability don't specifically need a nurse
