How to become a physical therapist, I need details?

• Well, Im a Junior in high school and I have made the decision of becoming a physical therapist. However, I am unaware of the steps and procedures one must take to become a physical therapist. I would really appreciate it if you guys can help. I want to know when I become a senior, what classes would i take in college, which colleges would be recommended, what college courses must one take, internships etc. In Essenes, I would be of great appreciation if someone would tell me what to expect as well.

  I would go to your career center or guidance councilors office. See if you can pamphlets or information about careers in physical therapy. There might be career books, or college information about programs in your area on physical therapy. If you are really motivated. I would call your local hospital or rehabilitation hospitals to see if you can schedule to meet with a physical therapist about their career as one. Just tell them you are a high school student interested in physical therapy, and would like to meet with one of your therapists. You have questions about their career.
