A psychiatrist is an M.D. - you're looking at heavy science, math, and decent English skills - just like any other med student. Most medical schools require several years of biology, including molecular, and chemistry, including organic, with labs. A&P doesn't hurt either. If what you meant was a psychologist, change your mind and go for psychiatrist. Since you posted in special ed - maybe you mean educational diagnostician? In which case you need an education degree, 3 years of teaching sped, and a masters degree. Go for psychiatry. :)
