I want to become a fashion designer.

I want to become a fashion designer plz suggest how can i apply for it?

  • which test should i give for entering into some fashion college like we give JEE for enginnering etc, plz suggest.

    There are many fashion designing institute like NIFD, Pearl Fashion designing institute. So u sud check which institute is in ur city or near by ur city. Go there and ask the procedure. Well Each Institute conducts its own test. No centralized test for fashion designing yet.

i 2 wanna b a fashion designer n i have applied 4 NIFT this year n cleared it too...now i have 2 appear 4 its situation test... u can get NIFT forms and its prospectus in December 2006 frm Canera bank, Union Bank, or Scindicate bank. u can also try 4 Pearl Academy n check out its site... site for NIFT is: www.niftindia.com bt remember dont just think of just 1 career option...there r many others in this line 2... Hope u 2 clear it... ALL THE BEST!!!

u shud give exams like for NIFT enterance and if u do well ud be called for interviews and group discussions. going to a good college is very important!!btw te interviews n group discussions are difficult..and u have to put your heart and soul into it. check out sites for NIFT and NID. good luck..i wanna be a designer too.
