How Hard is it to Get a "Special" Job?
-
I have a few jobs on my list that seem fun and interesting but all of them seem to be hard to get. I have the option to go to college for up to 8 years and more if needed so education is not a problem. I just want to know if I would be accepted into these jobs if I showed up with the right education: *A video game designer for either Blizzard, EA, or Valve. *A scientist for Nasa or an Astronomer. *An engineer who does something other than building buildings, more like working for Nasa and designing the next generation of Space Shuttles or something similar to that. Also, out of all the jobs I listed, do they all pay good enough to support myself? Also I don't want to be working from like 7:00 AM to 5 or 6 PM just to get enough money to support myself. I'm also a girl. (Just thought I would say that in-case gender effects any of the jobs I listed.) Here are more questions that I also need answered: Video Game Designer: Does it pay enough? How hard is it to be accepted? Once excepted, do you have to work your way up in order to get enough money? If you have the needed education, will they still do something stupid like put you as a cleaning lady? Do you have to work long hours such as getting off work at 5 or 6 PM? What is the average yearly salary, and is it enough to have a house or just enough for an apartment? Is it worth it? Scientist/Astromer for Nasa: How hard is it to be accepted? If you have the needed education, will they still put you at the lowest rank or something like that? Does it take years of doing the job in order to get enough money to support yourself? What is the average yearly salary, and is it good enough to have a house or just enough to have an apartment? Is it worth it? A Government or Nasa Engineer: How hard is it to be accepted? Is the average yearly salary good enough to have a house or just enough for an apartment? How hard is it to be an engineer who does something cool like build robots for study or build Space Shuttles? What are the average working hours per day? Is it worth it? Thanks a TON to whoever can help me! This has been bothing me for a while now.
