What courses you need to become a therapist?
-
I'm in grade 11 of high school and I want to become a therapist when I'm done and I'm just wondering what kind of courses you'd need to enter college or university for it.
-
Answer:
You need to take the normal college entrance requirements. These include four years of college prep English, three years of college prep social studies, three years of college prep science, and three years of college prep math. All colleges prefer (and some require) that you complete two to four years of the same world language. Spanish-speaking therapists are in demand. Some high schools offer psychology as an elective. You might want to take it if you get a chance.
