Is the University of Maryland, College Park a hard school to get into?

Is it possible to get in-state tuition at Maryland Universities if I live in Washington, DC?

  • I will be living in DC in the next few months, but I plan on attending graduate school at University of Maryland, College Park or University of Baltimore. College Park is still in the DC metro area, so it would make since for me to be able to get in-state tuition considering the fact that DC is not a state, and does not have any state funded schools besides UDC, right? Baltimore is a little bit more of a commute, but if I am able to get in-state tuition for one Maryland school, then I should be able to get it for a school in Baltimore, right? These things only make sense to me. I have been trying to research information on this subject, but all of the websites I visited were very vague. The only other choice is to live in Silver Spring or Hyattsville, then I most likely won't have that issue.
